Pregnancy and The Sacro Wedgy

DO NOT Lay on the Sacro Wedgy® while you are pregnant! You can however sit on the Wedgy to help keep the sacrum elevated and off of the sciatic nerve.

Tips on using The Sacro Wedgy® AFTER Child Birth.

Three days after delivery, use the Sacro Wedgy on the floor or other firm flat surface.  Begin with just the Wedgy (no elevation pad) under the sacrum and support under the neck. Start with the knees in a bent position with feet flat on the floor. (To be more comfortable, put a bolster or pillow under your knees). Extend one leg and leave it relaxed an extended for two or three minutes. Reverse procedure for the other leg. Now bring them both back to the bent position and slowly do several pelvic tilts (roll lower back to the floor). Next, slowly extend both legs (feet always relaxed outward when fully extended) and try to hold this position for two or three minutes. Repeating this simple routine two or three times daily for four or five days would be very beneficial to a healthy recovery. After the week, place the elevation pad under The Sacro Wedgy® and repeat the above procedure.
